Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olushola Matthew Kolawole, has condoled and commiserated with the former Deputy Governor of the state, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi over the demise of his beloved mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Awoniyi, whose death occurred few days ago after a brief illness.
The Speaker said it is devastating and sad for someone to lose a loved one especially the vessel through which he was born at the critical time that her words of wisdom, knowledge and understanding will be needed most to support him and the family.
He prayed that God will comfort him, his siblings, family and people of Mopa land in Mopamuro local government area.
