Kogi Speaker Commends Osaseyi Foundation, Pledge to Install Street Lights in Okoro Gbede

Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole, has promised to install 10 solar-powered street lights in Okoro Gbede community in Ijumu local government.

Kolawole made the promise when he paid Mr Richard Osaseyi a visit in Okoro Gbede on Sunday.

The Speaker said his visit was to appreciate the philantrohist’s tremendous contributions towards the development of Okun land through his foundation, Osaseyi Foundation. 

He acknowledged being aware of the humanitarian services, philanthropic acts and human capital development initiatives the Osaseyi Foundation has been facilitating in various Okun communities.

He announced the appointment of an indigene of Okoro Gbede, Mr. Matthew Kolawole, as Senior Special Assistant, effective immediately.

Mr Osaseyi commended the Speaker for such honour and quickly press home several demands for his people.

He further assured Rt. Hon. Kolawole of his commitment to do more and not relent on his efforts to foster rapid community developments through the Osaseyi Foundation, backed by tangible collaborations.
