Kogi Signage Agency Gives 7-Days Notice for Outdoor Advertisement Registration

Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency has issued notice to operators of outdoor advertisement to register their adverts.

This is contained in a statement by the General Manager of the Agency, Hon. Richard Osaseyi on Wednesday.

Osaseyi urged advertisement operators to perfect their registration process with the agency and pay all relevant and prescribed fees.

“Furthermore, all owners of billboards and banners displayed in public places are enjoined to proceed to the agency to pay all the prescribed fees required by the agency for the continual use of these advertising platforms,” he said.

He added that everyone affected by the notice is urged to comply with this directive within seven days of this notice because after the expiration of the notice, all sign posts, billboards and banners without the approval of the agency will be defaced at the cost of the owner.

Osaseyi urged all political parties, religious organizations, support groups, business owners and other to comply strictly with the directive as defaulters will be made to face the consequences of their actions.
