Kogi State Security Trust Fund has urged corporate bodies and privileged individuals to increase support to the organization, saying the state won’t relent on equipping security agencies for the task of combating crime.
Chairman Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Hon Teina Abdulmalik made the appeal during the end of year meeting of the Board of the State Security Fund held in Lokoja.
According to him, the present administration would continue to take the front seat in ensuring that security agencies in the state are well equipped to continue to safeguard the lives and property of the people.
While reiterating the fund’s readiness to further collaborate with both government and members of the private sector in tackling crime in the new year, the Chairman assured residents that all measures are being put in place to ensure their safety in 2021.
He equally disclosed that the state government would continue to make the necessary sacrifices especially as regard the release of funds to ensure residents, visitors and investors in the state feel safe to move about and carry out their lawful businesses.
Hon Abdulmalik used the forum to appreciate members of the Board of Trustee and the entire staff for their efforts and contribution towards moving the Trust Fund to greater heights in spite of the turbulent 2020.
Responding on behalf other Trustees, Hon. Paul Funsho Iselewa, who appreciated God for His support, applauded the chairman for his leadership style, push for revenue generation and meticulous spending and urged him to sustain the momentum.
