… Reiterates Polytechnic Management’s Support for Ododo Government
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has commended Governor Usman Ododo for the gracious approval of N72,500 as minimum wage and implementation of the Kogi State Health Insurance Scheme initiative for workers in the state.
Professor Usman gave the commendation at the management meeting of the Polytechnic in Lokoja on Wednesday.
The Rector, on behalf of the Management, staff and students of the institution, commended Governor Ododo for the love and support extended to the Polytechnic, describing the Governor’s actions as historic as Kogi State is among the few states to implement the minimum wage.
He added that the gracious approval of N72,500 as minimum wage is a welcome development and a positive effect of continuity and consolidation, whilst also commending the Governor for graciously approving the implementation of the Health Insurance Scheme, which he said has reaffirmed that this administration prioritizes workers’ welfare.
Professor Usman noted that Kogi State workers, and particularly staff of Kogi State Polytechnic, will forever be grateful for the love extended to the institution amidst the current economic hardship.
The Rector appreciated the impressive performance of Governor Ododo and reiterated the unflinching support of the institution’s Management for the present administration to succeed.
Professor Usman commended Kogi workers, particularly those in Kogi State Polytechnic, for their steadfast dedication over the years and encouraged them to recommit themselves to delivering exceptional service.
