Kogi Poly Announces Commencement of 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Registration

The management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja has announced the commencement of Post-UTME Screening Registration for 2025/2026 session.

A statement signed by the Registrar, Elder Sunday Aiyeetan, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Friday, informed all candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session that registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 and close on Wednesday, 20th August 2025.

B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must have chosen Kogi State Polytechnic as their institution of choice in the 2025/2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 100.

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

Candidates must take note of the required subject combinations for each programme as displayed on the Polytechnic’s admission portal, and ensure they meet the specific requirements for their chosen course.

Candidates who are awaiting O’Level results and meet the minimum UTME score of 100 may apply but must indicate their status appropriately during registration.

All candidates must provide a functional phone number, valid email address, and National Identification Number (NIN).

The modalities for the screening process will be communicated via SMS and email using the contact details provided during registration.

C. MODE OF APPLICATION

Eligible candidates should visit the Polytechnic’s official website:

www.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng or the application portal:

https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng and click on “Apply Now”.

The Registrar said candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.

“After successful payment, candidates should complete the online application form and upload the required documents.

“If you have previously registered, kindly log in with your username and password to continue or update your application.

“All applicants are strongly advised to use their correct details during registration. Any falsification of information will lead to automatic disqualification,” he said.

He said the Polytechnic will not engage the services of any agent.

“Candidates are advised to avoid third-party interference in the registration process.”
