“The time has come when all hands must be on deck for us not to miss this very great opportunity we all now have, to make a collective change in our dear state. A change that will make Kogi State a decent, conducive, violent free, economically and industrially viable place to live in.

“I am committed to building an economy that will change the future of our great people of Kogi State, that will increase our revenue and make us financially and self-sustaining, that will make us eventually end borrowing to run governance, explore our God-given resources, building processing plants that will convert our first line raw materials to finished products which in turn will provide decent jobs for our teeming unemployed population, and positively change the financial standing of our people.

“Our battle for growth in the past 28 years have been seriously hampered by corruption. I will be committed to ending corruption in our system within the first year in office to pave way for an all-inclusive growth if voted into power.

“Our educational system is of paramount importance. We need to make learning and teaching interesting to our students and teachers by providing a better environment and conditions of service both for the students and teachers / lecturers alike. We will ensure this is done promptly so that our schools can compete favorably with other institutions of learning not just within the country but also outside.

“Our Infrastructures need improvement. This is clearly visible and also speaks volume when you enter into the capital city. This will receive immediate attention and then becomes continuous when voted into power.

“Renewal of Kogi State is a hefty word which entails that all hands must be on deck not only for me but to all of us as a party. I therefore seek your continuous support during the campaign for us to emerge victorious in the forthcoming election,” he said.

Orugun pledged his total commitment to the renewal of Kogi state, assuring that he will not disappoint the people.
