A former Secretary to Kogi State Government, Chief Justina Dolapo Abanida has emerged governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the November 16 governorship election.
Speaking at the end of the ADC primary election, the National Secretary of the party, Alhaji Sai’d Baba Abdullahi, who was the returning officer, expressed confidence in the candidature of Chief Abanida.
“Barr Justina Abanida has the magic wand to make Kogi State a model state in Nigeria,” he said.
In her acceptance speech, Abanida thanked the delegates for their confidence in her and promised not to disappoint them.
Abanida is a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Kogi state.
