Kogi Politics: Abejide Hosts Gov Ododo, Yahaya Bello to Developmental Talks

Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello; the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo; and the member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, on Sunday held a closed-door meeting at the lawmaker’s Abuja residence to discuss the development of the state.

According to Special Adviser on Public Communication to Rt. Hon Leke Abejide, Bashiru Abdul Mohammed, the meeting focused on the development of Kogi state.

Bashiru said the trio agreed to work together on security and infrastructural development.

The federal lawmaker, who doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Customs & Excise, thanked the governor for his efforts towards state’s economic stabilization while charging him to a double efforts on security of all and sundry.

“The trio who are both illustrious sons of our dear Kogi State, discussed issues of state-national importance, aimed at improving and strengthening the harmonization of ethnics and senatorial districts of the state,” Bashiru said.

He said the continued collaboration between the three leaders signaled a good development for the people of Kogi state.
