Oluwasegun Olukotun, a patient battling with renal kidney disease in Federal Medical Center (FMC), Lokoja has appealed to the general public to assist him in raising a sum of N15Million to enable him undergo kidney transplant surgery.
He made the appeal during the week in FMC, Lokoja when several delegations of Voice Of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY), led by Julius Olushola Abel differently paid him a get-well-soon visit.
According to one of the doctors, the patient’s condition is end stage renal kidney disease, and the optimal prescription is kidney transplant.

The patient, who has been admitted for almost 3 months, has been surviving on N65,000 worth dialysis for every 48hours, and has since exhausted all available finances to continue the dialysis, hence seeking for financial support.
Until the transplant, the patient will have to be surviving on N65,000 dialysis in every 48 hours.
Oluwasegun Olukotun is a very young man, full of life and energy, with a promising future, before this unfortunate illness caught up with him.
