Kogi NUP Condoles Gov Ododo, Kogites Over Patriarch’s Death

Kogi State chapter of Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) has condoled the chief servant and Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the passage of his father, late Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo, who passed on at the age of 82 years.

In a condolence message signed by the state chairman of the Union, Elder Clement Ohida and made available to newsmen in Lokoja Tuesday, described the patriarch has a community leader and forthright father, devote Muslim who nurtured his offsprings to fear God and contributors to societal advancement.

He regretted that the wise counsel of their father would be immensely missed at this moment as his death has created huge vacuum to be difficult to fill, adding that late Momoh Sani Ododo lived a fulfilled life having spent over eighty years on earth and left notable legacies worthy of emulation by those the deceased left behind.

Engr. Ohida urged those he left behind to take solace in the reality that their patriarch was reputed in community development and has produced grown up children like Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo who is providing sound leadership to the state through his pragmatic and human face achievements.
