The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Kogi State has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Salifu on their swearing-in as Governor and Deputy Governor of Kogi state respectively.
In a statement signed by Chairman, Dr Baoku Olusola and Acting Secretary, Dr Ugoh Stanley, NMA noted that the emergence of Ododo as the Governor marks a new dawn in the history of Kogi State.
They assured that the medical body will always give its unflinching support for the administration to succeed in Kogi State.
According to the statement, Ododo and his deputy have been tested and trusted in governance, adding that they are optimistic for the new administration to build on the legacies of her predecessor.
“Their inauguration marks a new era for Kogi State, and we are eager to witness the positive changes they will bring.
“We wish your Excellency God’s wisdom, strength, direction, and guidance to deliver on your mandate to the people of Kogi.
“As an Association, we pledge our support to your Government as we commit ourselves to driving healthcare delivery in State optimally to further your laudable objectives of taking the State to the next level,’ the statement added.
