Kogi State Council of National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has applauded the Court of Appeal judgement upholding Governor Usman Ododo’s victory at the November 2023 polls.
Chairman of NANNM, Comrade Umar Suleiman Bako, in a statement on Friday, described the appellate court’s verdict as an affirmation of the popular mandate given to Governor Ododo at the polls by Kogi electorate.
He congratulated Governor Ododo and urged him to sustain the impressive style of governance that has endeared him to everyone in the state in the last six months.
Comrade Bako noted that the Governor’s humane approach to governance and his sound policies has placed Kogi on track for accelerated development.
He also hailed the Governor’s commitment to welfare of civil servants in the state, urging him to sustain the tempo.
The NANNM chairman called on Kogites to rally round Governor Ododo in his bid to make Kogi great.
