Kogi Local Government PDP Inaugurates Newly Constituted Party Executives

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi Local Government has officially inaugurated its newly formed party executives in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The event reaffirmed the party’s commitment to unity, effective leadership, and grassroots mobilization. It marked an important step in efforts to strengthen the party’s structures ahead of upcoming elections.

During the inauguration, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, a former lawmaker who represented Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency at the 9th Assembly, praised party members for their ongoing support and dedication to the PDP.

He highlighted that the new executives have a crucial duty to restore public trust, foster internal unity, and promote the party’s vision for inclusive growth in Kogi Local Government.

Hon. Shaba Ibrahim called the inauguration a call to service. He urged the newly elected officers to show integrity, discipline, and strategic involvement as they fulfilled their roles. He reiterated the PDP commitment to providing honest leadership at all levels and pointed out that strong local structures are critical for real political progress.

“With the successful inauguration of its executives, the PDP in Kogi Local Government has shown its readiness to become a people centred political force focused on good governance, development, and democratic accountability,” PDP Local Government Chairmen said.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Yunusa Halidu Adazaki, the Kogi State PDP Youth Leader, urged the newly inaugurated executives to stay strong, united, and dedicated as they take on their duties. He emphasized that their mandate is one of service to the party’s progress.

Hon. Yunusa Adazaki congratulated all executives and encouraged them to maintain unity as they begin preparations for future elections. He affirmed that the PDP remains the true party of the people and expressed confidence that their collective efforts and unity will bring more victories for the party.
