One of the governorship aspirants in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election, Quantity Surveyor Aminu Suleiman has hailed the outcome of the exercise.

In a press statement personally signed by the aspirant, Aminu congratulated the winner of the primary election, Engr. Musa Wada.

Musa Wada polled 748 votes to emerge governorship candidate of PDP.

Aminu pledge to join hands with Wada to unseat incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello in the November election.

“Congratulations His Excellency-in-waiting on your victory as the standard flag-bearer of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the just concluded democratic primary exercise. I wish to say I am extremely pleased with the outcome and resolutions of the party on the processes despite a failed attempt by political detractors to undermine what could be adjudged as one of the most credible, transparent and fairest processes ever undertaken in the history of Kogi State PDP gubernatorial primaries.

“I am confident that you’ll lead us well into the general election proper come November 16 2019. Together we shall redeem the lost glory of our dear State. I know you are a team player, determined, smart, wise, and discerning as you’ve proven in your previous roles and throughout your campaign.

“Thank you for taking up the gauntlet, contributing your time and effort as we prepare for the onerous task of unseating the incumbent.

“On behalf of myself and the entire AAS Campaign Organization across the state, you are assured of our unalloyed support in the spirit of sportsmanship and as conscientious party members. Anything that can advance the cause of our great party and bring good governance to all Kogites is what we consider our core patriotic mandate,” he said.

Aminu urged Wada to reach out to other fellow aspirants as a sign of goodwill and willingness to bond towards the task ahead.
