He assured the people of the state that his emergence will mark the beginning of a prosperous Kogi state having developed a comprehensive blueprint for the enthronement of good governance that will ensure improved wellbeing for the people of the state.

According to him, Kogi has no business being ranked among the poor states if the human and natural endowments in the state are properly harnessed.

Engr. Wada noted that visiting Yagba West is more of home-coming because of his long time relationship with the former council Chairman, late Engr. Ayo Makanjuola.

He promised to declare state of emergency in the road sector if he becomes governor of Kogi State.

Speaking at the event, son of former governor of the state, Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim described Musa Wada as the best man to lead Kogi out of its present socio-economic woes.

Suleiman expressed confidence that Engr. Musa has what it takes to liberate the state from its present predicament. He assured the people that Wada is a man of character and integrity, qualities which informed why he chose to support his aspiration to govern the state.

He sympathized with workers at all levels in the state who have been exposed and subjected to economic hardship over unpaid salaries.

Suleiman described the forthcoming governorship election in the state as another opportunity for the people to make a choice, appealing to delegates to choose wisely by electing Musa Wada as the PDP flagbearer in the September 3rd primary election because he is the best option.

The Director General of the campaign team, Prince Jambright Sumanu thanked the people of Yagba West for their warm reception, promising that Engr Wada will justify the overwhelming support given to him.

Party leaders and delegates from Yagba West assured the governorship hopeful of their overwhelming support for his aspiration, promising that Yagba West will give him massive votes at the primaries. They, however, admonished the guber aspirant to shun rumour peddlers.
