**Says no alternative to Bello.

As the steam of political activities hots up for the November 16, governorship election in Kogi, a former aspirant and woman leader of All progressive Congress(APC) in Olamaboro local government, Her excellency, Blessing Aisha Ekele has launched ‘Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group’, to drum support for governor Yahaya Bello second term bid.
In a brief press conference in Lokoja on Wednesday, the chieftain of the party who have been playing a yeoman job in the winning streaks of the party in the previous elections, urged all Igah sons and daughters to join hands together and ensure governor Bello and his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja shine at the polls in the November election.
Explaining the objectives of the #BellOnoja2019 advocacy group, Ekele, who contested the last House of Representatives party primary election to represent the good people of Ankpa/ Olamaboro/Omalla Federal Constituency, and the just concluded APC governorship primary election said because she believe in team work and party supremacy she has decided to work for the re-election quest of governor Bello/Onoja ticket, in the forthcoming governorship election.
The Magajia1 of Yakanajie, Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state and apostle of politics without bitterness said besides the APC members in the Igah ward 4 in Olamaboro local government, staunch members of PDP, ADC and APGA that attended the occasion have registered their loyalty and vowed to work for re-election of governor Bello /Edward ticket.
“A vote for Bello/Onoja in the forthcoming election is a million steps to prosperity, quality standard of living, employment, income for all and grading of our monarch in the ward to the next level, besides addressing issues of social amenities, like electricity, boreholes water and linking of feeder roads to boost agricultural activities in various communities of the state”, she expressed.
While she expressed gratitude to Ojibo Igah, His Royal Highess, Onuche Shaibu for attending the occasion, she noted that there is no place in the history of Igah traditional institution where the Ojibo Igah attends function outside his palace, but for the love he has for governor Bello return bid and her own laudable activities in the domain made him to attend the occasion and declare his support for “#BellOnoja2019”.
The Ojibo Igah that led all his subordinate traditional chiefs in the ward to the launching of the advocacy group commended her excellency, Magajia1, Ekele for her consistency in her political life, saying that they will follow her any where she goes politically; even as the monarch pleaded to the authority in Lugard House, Lokoja to include his name in the next grading of chiefs in the state.
HRM Chief Shaibu said that since Ekele assumed leadership of the party in the Igah ward 4, things like welfare packages meant for the ward which was a sad story before have started going round to the concerned because of her benevolent spirit and the love of her people.
In the same vein, the Igah ward 4 APC chairman, Lawrence Okwoli who led the party executive members to flag up the “Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group”, urged the people of the ward and the council to vote enmasse for Bello/Onoja ticket for him to complete the ongoing projects that are abound in the state.
However, it was gathered that plan has reached an advance stage to launch “Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group” in the capital city, Lokoja, shortly after her Excellency official appreciation visit to the palace of Yakanajie kingdom this weekend to thank the people of Uke for honouring her with the prestigious tittle of magajia 1 of their kingdom.
