Ahead of November 16 governorship election in Kogi State, the Advanced Peoples Democratic Party (APDA) has denied merging with any political party.
The state chairman of the party, Hon. Danladi Menyaga, in a statement issued on Wednesday, insisted that APDA is set to play an important role in the forthcoming governorship election.
Menyaga called on members of the party to disregard rumours making round that APDA has merged with another party in the state.
“Our party, Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), is alive and very active in Kogi State. At the moment, the party is penetrating every nook and crannies of Kogi state and the nation at large.
“I call on our teeming supporters, members and the good people of Kogi state to disregard any rumour alleging the merger of APDA with any political party. We are gallant and ready to bulldoze this time around.
“We appreciate all our leaders, national, state, local government, wards and units for their efforts in ensuring success for the party, APDA,” he said.
Menyaga called on Kogi electorate to embrace the ideals of APDA to guarantee a better future for the state.
