The Kogi East zonal chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Ahmedi Attah has expressed confidence in the ability of governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state to win the November 16 governorship election.
Attah said this at Ejule on Saturday when he paid a courtesy call on the member representing Idah Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon David Idris Zacharias.
The zonal leader said current narratives of attack on the Yahaya led government shows that he is a political commodity that will give heat to the others.
He called on the Door to Door campaign group of Zacharias campaign organization to replicate what they did during the parliamentary and presidential elections.
He was full of praise for the group’s outstanding outing where they ensured that the candidates of the APC came out successful in the election.
He enjoined them not to allow propaganda sway them in their struggles to see that Yahaya Bello is returned in the election.
The visibly elated Attah called on the entire people of Ofu to give the lawmaker support to enable him succeed in his given assignment.
Member representing Idah federal constituency, David Idris Zacharias while responding, appreciated the roles played by Mr. Amedi Attah in the state and reiterated his support and commitment to the GYB project.
The lawmaker added, that Ejule has since been neglected until the arrival of governor Bello, through Amadi Attah and Edward Onoja, that the community came to light again.
He charged the leader to relax his nerves, adding that all is on point to see that the governor emerges for the second term.
The duo assured Yahaya Bello and the APC in Kogi state of block votes, while assuring that grassroots mobilization are already on.
The two leaders in separate remarks, called on Muslims to celebrate the sallah with peace, love and share all they have with each other.
