Kogi Govt to Host 29th Edition of Nigeria Media Merit Awards

Kogi State Government will on Tuesday sign a memorandum of understanding with Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA) for right to host the 29th edition of the event.

The state commissioner for information and communication, Kingsley Fanwo, made this known in a statement issued in Lokoja on Monday.

According to Fanwo, the 29th edition of the awards will hold in Lokoja in October 2021.

He stated that the MoU signing ceremony will take place under the supervision of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Arike Ayoade, and the Coordinator, Dr. Ronke Bello.

He assured that Kogi state is poised to host the best ever NMMA as a committee, under the leadership of Dr. Ronke Bello, is working relentlessly to make the event a historic one.
