A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has described the special visit to selected stakeholders from the state by a top government official as an indication of an administration that is focused on tapping from former leaders’ wealth of experience.

Adeyemi, in a press statement issued on Tuesday, said the move will help achieve unassailable feats in the second term of Governor Yahaya Bello.

He noted that the Governor had in the last four years gathered unusually great leadership experience, related with successful national leaders and learnt processes that will make his second tenure better than any other Governor in Kogi State.

“After a very eventful, politically tough and busy first tenure, Governor Yahaya Bello is positioned, ready and prepared, mentally, physically and spiritually to reposition the state beyond all administrations. He has laid an enduring political, unity, religious, administrative and infrastructural  foundation in the first term.

“His second term will consolidate on industrialization with two other rice mills in Kogi East and Central, making Kogi the rice processing hub in Nigeria, promote discipline and well remunerated civil service and ensure payment before end of month as is currently practiced, remodel all primary and secondary schools in the state in such manner that private schools will become uninteresting.

“Governor Yahaya Bello has also built a politically stable state that produced state and national lawmakers that will complement the government to succeed,” he said.

Omoluabi stated that the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has demonstrated very rare and unprecedented trait of leadership through the visit, adding that the experience shared by the leaders have been well noted for action and implementation.

“I am personally very happy that His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello has continued to focus on delivering good governance, even at the height of election period. He has not allowed his political activities to affect business of governance, his national network is also a huge benefit to our state. He has continued to make himself strategically available for national assignment that confers huge advantages on the state. I was shocked to see the government present budget to the state House of Assembly at such time after election.

“Having a very loyal, cerebral and dutiful Deputy Governor like Chief Edward David Onoja is another way the Yahaya Bello led administration had added values and strength to itself. I am confident that the second tenure beginning from 27th January will deliver greater divided of good governance to our people.”

While making his contribution on the business of development, he Omoluabi said the people must unite to support this administration to succeed.

“God has given Governor Bello the next four years, the people must as a matter of necessity support him to succeed.”
