Kogi state government has extended condolences to the Vatican and global Catholic community on the passing of His Holiness, Pope Francis.

In a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, the Kogi state government described Pope Francis as a towering figure whose moral clarity, humility, and unwavering commitment to peace and humanity resonated across continents.
