Kogi Gov’ship: Pharm Asuku Emerge Grand Patron of Ododo Support Organisation

As part of the activities to galvanize for overwhelmingly votes for the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the forthcoming November 11th 2023 election in Kogi state, the Ododo Support Organisation (OSO) has made the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muh’d Jamiu Asuku grand patron of the organisation.

The Chief of Staff received the letter of conferment during a meeting with the Executives Directors and top advisers of the organisation at his official residence in Lokoja on Friday.

Asuku, the Ogochi of Igala Kingdom, commended OSO for their selfless service in the support of the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The Chief of Staff noted that he has been following the activities of the organisation through the various online media platforms, adding that OSO’s activities so far is worthy of commendations as a lot seem to have been achieved even without any external funding or financial aid from the political class.

“The OSO is a real organisation that knows what politics is all about. I urge you all to be of good conduct and sound character as we go about the campaign activities – as whatever we say or do out there can shape our victory.

“We have to imbibe the character of choosing our words at all times – as you have dedicated yourself to be the ambassadors of this project, people would naturally tend to reflect your conducts as the character of our candidate, your conducts dictates the conviction and expectations of people towards our candidate.

“Let us not be the one that will provoke any activities that would dent the image of our candidate. I believe we can convince even members of the opposition political parties to do our bidding if you know the right approach to reach them – and that I believe this your impressive campaign model offers,” he said.

The Chief of Staff expressed confidence in the ability of the organisation to deliver good results, saying they are not induced to do what they are doing.

He buttressed on the need for sincerity of purpose and commitment to the project, saying that he is quite delighted that the OSO political strategies have the capacity to make tremendous impacts on the candidate’s political consultations and campaigns.

Pharmacist Asuku, while pledging his total support for the organisation, charged them not to relent in their activities but to redouble their efforts in the coming weeks of the governorship campaigns.

Earlier in his opening address, the Director General of Ododo Support Organisation, OSO, Engr. A. S. Adaira (PhD), informed the Chief of Staff that they are meeting with him to formally notify him of the organisation’s commencement of campaign activities in support of the APC governorship candidate in the forthcoming November gubernatorial election in Kogi state.

The OSO DG stated that: “the organisation aim to effect a revolutionize self-driven campaign model to ensure we sell our party’s candidacy and canvass for support from party faithful, independent voters and attract potential decampees to our fold; regardless of any sentiment – in all the nooks and crannies of the state.

“The 18 directorates laden campaign model is structured to deliver a total number of 48,099 executive members, and assure that the model can guarantee over 240,000 votes across the state at the very best performance.”

He explained that the model creates a sense of entitlements and ownership for all executives to do little but achieve more.

Other members of the OSO Directors Forum: Engr. Ogueyi Muftau, Mr. Attai Joshua Emeje, Comrade Babatunde John Fanwo and Alhaji Salawu Aliyu Kabir; took turns to appreciate the Chief of Staff for his excellent track records in leadership, resilience, faithfulness and party loyalty. They said: “To us in the Organisation and like thinkers, you are a true definition of loyalty, and we pray to God to let history be kind to any mention of your name”.
