In the political realm, where most sacred promises often do not match with the appealing outcomes, it can be deduced that the reasons for these unfulfilled covenants are hinged on the glaring fact that politicians don’t execute promises with requisite action, hence the people usually lose fate when they speak or habitually make promises during electioneering.
In a divergent approach regardless, the Special Adviser to Governor Bello on Domestic Matters, Hon. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda) in a bid to facilitate massive victory for the APC candidate, visited various farm centres in Kogi Central and most unbelievably went about a hundred kilometres to Agama community, a boundary between Edo and Kogi State with the same maxim to fulfil the party promises and deliver dividends of democracy to the doorstep of the outstretched people, thereby donating Borehole to ameliorate the challenges of water in the Agama area, giving cash, and valuable items to others.
The Special Adviser has distinguished the New Direction government of Governor Yahaya from the trends of unsatisfactory leadership traits counting on his remarkable track records and the current action plans executed.
The trait of excellent leadership is mostly of greater concern as we embark on the ongoing gubernatorial campaigns. However, the fact that Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration has done magic in critical areas has enhanced Okakanda’s thirst to rejigge his efforts thereby ensuring the continuity of Governor Bello’s developmental stride in the state with Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman as the next Governor of Kogi State.
Gov Yahaya Bello’s dedication to infrastructures, health sector improvement, electricity, raising plus empowering youth and women are more evident as the Special Adviser traversed the various farm centres.
The evidence was more empirical from the testimonies given by the Irepeni Village Head, Mallam Sadiq Idogu who confessed that Gov Bello changed their story by expediting Electricity to their community after many years in darkness. Then the Irepeni Community Head, Mr. Momohjimoh Adinoyi, testified on the security improvements in their areas with no farmer-herders clashes.
The Secretary to Hausa-Fulani 1 Community in the area, Mall. Muhammed Shabiu (Gambo), further revealed that Gov Bello is a detribalized leader and has paved the way for them to dwell without any rancour. Similarly to, the Ohi of Eika divulged that Governor Yahaya Bello is one of the best things that ever happened to Kogi State just as the Chairman of Agama Community acknowledged.
Through Governor Bello’s visionary leadership, countless young individuals who were sons of nobody have risen to somebody and have attained positions of power and influence. Gov Bello has shattered barriers, opened doors, and inspired a generation to dream big and reach the pinnacle.
Today, the youth figure, Hon. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda) and a host of others stand tall as a testament to Gov Bello’s unprecedented commitment to generational shift cum collective progress by replicating Gov. Bello’s leadership attributes by giving to the society their deserved needs.
The Special Adviser has been dutiful in displaying excellent influence, his contributions are sparkling and have overshadowed the calamitous campaigns of the opposition who never mean well for the state, swinging the pendulum ethnic waves to an issue-based campaign for Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Comr Joel Oyibo Salifu.
In times past, Kogi State was plagued with criminality of various kinds which posed adverse effects and dwindled economy of the state. Morbid fear was sent to the spine of the citizens each time they plied the roads, but became history under the New Direction government. The people of Kogi State are therefore duty-bound to vote consolidations for the system that avert this calamitous era and reposition the state. This is the gospel of Governor Bello that Okakanda has taken to a far distant place to get the people informed to deliver Alh. Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State.
