Candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in the Kogi governorship election scheduled to hold on November 11, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, has declared that his impending victory at the poll is unstoppable.

Braimoh made this known while addressing a large crowd of supporters who joined him in a road walk across major streets in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, on Monday.

He charged the mammoth crowd of supporters, that joined the road walk from Paparanda Square to the party’s campaign office along Lokongoma Phase II, to eschew fear as the Action Alliance is poised to emerge victorious at the polls.

“We are going to the polls to put an end to poverty and helplessness. We are going to the polls to start a new generation of wealth creators in a prosperous Kogi state.

“Do not be afraid. we are unstoppable. Nobody can stop us. The suffering and pains are enough.

“People are coming to our party on a daily basis. Nothing can stop us from emerging victorious,” he said.

Speaking with newsmen at the campaign office, Braimoh said the large turnout of resident at the road walk is an evidence that the people are tired of the situation in the state.

“Our people are working hard everyday. The results are evident in the large number of people that walked with us through kilometers, defying the unpleasant weather. We are unstoppable.

“They have come to identify with the vision of wealth creation and distribution. Our message is clear, we want to take our people from poverty to prosperity,” he said.

Braimoh said he is fully committed to peaceful election and has adhered strictly to issue-based campaigns.

“We have not insulted anybody. We have not incited violence in any way. Our campaigns has been based on issues. Our messages has been very clear about the STAT Agenda. We have been consistent with this. This is an assignment for us, not an ambition.”

The AA governorship candidate urged Kogi electorate to come out en masse and vote for him on November 11, adding that he is convinced beyond reasonable doubt that he will emerge victorious.

The event witnessed chieftains of other political parties defecting to Action Alliance with a pledge to work for Braimoh’s victory at the poll.
