As we bask in the euphoria of our newly minted President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, some thoughts came to the minds of Fancy Media Team under the leadership of Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Fancy which bear similitude to the ongoing political activities in the Confluence State.
Like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu popularly known as Jagaban, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU), would be sworn in as the 6th Executive Governor of the state come 27th January, 2024 through the grace of God.
Let’s begin the juxtaposition.
Have you ever heard of power of positive confession and declarations?
That is what partly worked for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Just as Ododo is visiting and consulting monarch and stakeholders across party divides before official commencement of campaign activities, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in one of such visits before presidential primary election declared that ‘Emi’lokan’, which when loosely translated means ‘it’s my turn’.
However, the wailing wailers (apologies to Femi Adesina) went to town with the jaundiced meaning of the statement. According to their warped political theory and logic, a king maker is not supposed to aspire to be a king. They said it is an aberration!
Whether their position is constitutional or emotional, they cannot stand seeing a man who has mentored and built transformational leaders becoming a President. But today, the rest is history as BAT is now the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In Kogi State, Ododo is strategically consulting statewide while wailing wailers are promoting doctored video of him.
While the ‘ Emi’lokan’ slogan comfortably wangled its way into the political lexicon of Nigeria, boom!, the ‘bulabic’ episode came and attempted to dislodge it. Different versions of the video went viral from the stable of Nigeria sectional or ethnic agenda promoters, an epitome of ethnic champions in Kogi State.
The dogged and result-oriented BAT carried on with his campaign activities unabashed, and visited all states of the federation despite being advanced in age. Sigh! Did I hear you say Ododo is currently suffering such fate in the hands of serial political losers? How can the ‘town hall’ of losers be different in Kogi?
Now, let’s get to the crux of the matter: A governorship primary election was held in Kogi State by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on 14th April, 2022. All contestants on the platform of the APC were eminently qualified to govern the state but statutorily, one person has to emerge. Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, the ‘Flower Boy’ of the Confluence State was massively elected to bear the flag of the party.
Then, the wailing wailers in their normal line of trade, went to town with their distorted regressive belief and narrations. But like BAT, Ododo remains unperturbed and undeterred in walking the talk for a better Kogi State.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was undoubtedly the richest presidential candidate in the last general election because he had notable people at his beck and call.
Do you wish to know why the ‘Flower Boy’ is also the richest governorship candidate in the history of Kogi State? In similar approach like Tinubu, Alhaji Ododo has been endorsed by the greater majority of Kogi people because of his developmental vision which is an offshoot of Governor Yahaya Bello’s foresight.
The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM, Alh. Ado Ibrahim has laid hands of blessing on him. In Ohimegye of Koton-Karfe kingdom, HRM, Alhaji Isah Abdulrazak pronounced him fit for the top job in Kogi State. The Atta of Igala, HRM Matthew Opaluwa in a well-reported Idah declarations said he is best fit for the job because he possesses real Kogi Agenda.
When the acceptance was the same at the palace of Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, Ododo declared that he is the richest governorship candidate because of the quality of people that have endorsed him.
Fancy Media Team, therefore, can authoritatively affirm this statement. If not Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, which other party candidate has been endorsed simultaneously by the out gone President Muhammadu Buhari and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whilst still enjoying the acceptance of Hon. James Faleke, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Indeed, Alhaji Ododo is the richest governorship candidate and will become the richest Governor in the country because of the caliber of people supporting his ambition.
Again, like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman will weather the current storm of politicking and would be declared the 6th Executive Governor of Kogi State. He has sterling antecedents and workable inclusive agenda for the generality of Kogi State.
The ‘Flower Boy’ will blossom to the admiration of all and Sundry.
Like Tinubu, like Ododo, Let’s consolidate together!
