Kogi Gov’ship: Khalifa Abdulrahman Pledge Support for Ododo School to School Campaign

Ahead of the November governorship election in Kogi state, a spiritual leader, Khalifa Abdulrahman Okene has promised to to support the Ododo School to School Campaign (OSSC) organization.

Dr. Khalifa Okene made this known when he received the OSSC delegation led by the Convener, Comrade Adabara Abduljelil Umar, in Abuja on Monday.

Adabara described the Islamic and political leader from Kogi Central district as an icon who has been an advocate of education for all.

He noted that Khalifa Okene has made significant contributions in the education via numerous scholarship interventions and grants for students.

In a brief address by the State Secretary, Comrade Daniel Ayegba, said the humanitarian interventions of Dr. Khalifa Abdulrahman Okene is worthy of emulation, specifically in the education sector of the state since the inception of the current administration, noting that OSSC is inspired to partner with him as a towering pillar in the realisation of Ododo/Joel mandate.

In his remark, the Director General, Engr. Chatta Ubaid, briefed the spiritual leader about the activities of the organisation, adding that OSSC has been visiting schools and colleges, sensitising market women and uniting the good people of Kogi state to support the divine mandate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo for consolidation in the forthcoming election.

Responding, Dr. Khalifa Okene appreciated the unalloyed supports of the delegation in the sensitization drive for the APC candidate, and pledged to to assist OSSC to carry out assigned roles seamlessly for the overall victory of Ododo Ahmed Usman in the next governorship election.

The meeting was attended by the Kogi West Deputy Coordinator, Comr. Danladi Salihu, State Deputy Woman leader, Hajiya Khairat Tijani Abubakar, the College Mother, Comr. Ize Hani, the Abuja Liaison Officer, Ms. Memunat Musa, Ms. Nafisat Jimoh and Youth Coordinator, Engr. Aliyu Abdulrahman.
