As November 11th draws closer and parties scheme for victory, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has begun to gather more momentum ahead of other political parties in Kogi state.
A former House of Assembly aspirant from Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Jacob Alih Monday (JAM) has declared his full support for the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka.
Hon. Monday Jacob made this known in Lagos today while addressing newsmen ahead of the visit of the SDP Guber candidate to Lagos this weekend.
Monday promised to collapse his political structure for the success of Alh Murtala Yakubu Ajaka in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
“I have made up my mind to mobilise support for the SDP candidate which is consequent upon the high level of betrayal, deception, treachery and extortion witnessed in the just concluded APC primary election in the state,” he alleged.
He further noted that despite his investment and commitment to the APC as a party, he can not patronise falsehood and dishonesty at the expense of personal political philosophy.
JAM added that the current attack on the Murtala Ajaka’s supporters in Kogi state can not distract God from making the SDP candidate emerge victorious come November 11th.
