Ahead of November 11, 2023 governorship election in Kogi state, the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, has continued to reach out to critical stakeholders in the state.
Ododo, on Tuesday, paid an accomplished son of Kogi State, Mr. Silas Ahiaba a courtesy visit at his Abuja residence.
Mr Ahiaba is a Dekina born retired Manager of the NNPC.
Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo assured Mr Ahiaba of his commitment to one Kogi State where the people are united for prosperity and greatness.
The governorship candidate said he will work hard for the economic expansion of the State as well as promote peace, unity and security.
While responding, Mr. Ahiaba thanked the candidate for the visit, assuring him of massive support across Kogi East.
The retired NNPC Manager eulogized Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant strides, saying his support for Alh. Ododo is hinged on his belief that APC candidate will continue the development strides of Alh. Yahaya Bello.
Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation and the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Deedat Ozigi said the people of the state are united behind Ododo, saying the era of division by selfish politicians is gone.
In his vote of thanks, the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Abdullahi Bello hailed Mr. Ahiaba as a committed party man who believes in one united Kogi State. He assured Mr Ahiaba that when elected, Alh. Ododo will follow the path of unity set by Alh. Yahaya Bello.
