Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has felicitated with a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isaac Alfa (retd) on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.
Bello in a congratulatory message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Mohammed, extolled the sterling leadership qualities of the former Air Chief.
He said he was elated to be identified with Air Marshal Alfa, whom he described as a fearless and exceptional pilot, with a profound knowledge of his specialised branch of Tactical Air Reconnaissance, saying he made Kogi, his state of origin and the nation at large proud all through his career in the Nigerian Air Force.
According to him, the career graph and progression of Air Marshal Alfa all through the ranks to the very peak as an Air Marshal and Chief of Air Staff in the country would remain an inspiration for subsequent generations of the Nigerian Air Force.
Bello said it was a landmark accomplishment for an individual to witness his 70th birthday in good health, adding that there was every reason to thank God for how far He has brought the celebrant in the journey of life.
The Governor prayed God to grant Air Marshal Alfa many more years in sound health to be able to contribute his wealth of knowledge and experience to the development of the nation.
