Abdulahi said as at now, most of the local government council beneficiaries have received credit alerts, stressing that it is only a Governor with heart of gold and milk will respond swiftly to the cries of his people.

He disclosed that the governor has assured that the remaining balance would be paid in full before the end of his administration.

The Forum specifically applauded Gov. Bello for approving the payment of another part of arrears of their salaries, furniture and severance allowances owed during the tenure of his predecessor.

Omale who was full of joy for the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, and the APC governorship candidate for their commitment to improving the lives of the people, assured that his group, which is closest to the grassroots, would mobilise massively for success of APC in the November 11 governorship election.

He added that the group is committed to the Ododo/Joel project and has launched operation deliver your polling unit, ward, and local government, saying with the renewed zeal of the members to the election, APC will win convincingly by the grace of God.

He charged members not to be swayed by the opposition parties whom he said have nothing to offer to the people.

He noted that with total transformation of the state by the present administration, the only thing expected of the people is to ensure that Ododo emerged victorious for the sustainability of the legacy projects.

Recall that the local government councils’ political office holders who served between 2013- 2016 under the administration of Captain Idris Wada were owed several months of their salaries and severance benefits, which the Governor has graciously commenced total defrayment.

While calling on people of Kogi state to come out enmass to vote for the Ododo / Joel candidature in November 11 governorship election, the Forum urged the electorate to shun acts that will breach law and order before, during and after the election.
