The Kogi Equity Alliance has congratulated Superintendent of Police Ahmed AbdulMumin on his well-deserved promotion, describing it as a proud moment not only for the Nigeria Police Force but also for Kogi State and the many young Nigerians whose lives he has positively shaped.

In a statement signed by Yusuf Ahmad, KEA noted that AbdulMumin’s rise through the ranks reflects years of disciplined service, professionalism, and an uncommon commitment to humane and people-centred policing. Beyond the uniform and title, the Alliance described him as a man of the people, widely respected for his calm disposition, accessibility, and principled leadership.

KEA further highlighted that Ahmed AbdulMumin’s impact extends far beyond official duty posts. Over the years, he has mentored, supported, and uplifted numerous young people across Nigeria, offering guidance, encouragement, and personal intervention that helped steer many away from despair and toward purpose, discipline, and productive citizenship.

According to the Alliance, celebrating AbdulMumin is also about recognising this quiet legacy of mentorship and youth development. His journey demonstrates that leadership within the security services can be firm without being harsh, authoritative without losing humanity, and effective while remaining compassionate.

As an Alliance committed to equity, justice, and responsible leadership, KEA said it celebrates SP Ahmed AbdulMumin not just for the rank he now wears, but for the lives he has touched, the young people he has helped raise, and the values he continues to embody through service.

KEA concluded by wishing him strength, wisdom, and protection as he assumes greater responsibilities in service to the nation, expressing confidence that his continued rise will bring honour to Kogi State and inspire a new generation of Nigerians committed to service with character.
