Kogi East: Senator Aidoko Debunks Report of His Sack by Appeal Court

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has described reports claiming that his seat has been declared vacant by the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja as unfounded.
Aidoko made this known during a media briefing with the Senate press corps after plenary on Tuesday.
He alleged that the false reports from his “normal detractors who are bent on sustaining their usual practice”
Senator Aidoko wondered were his political foes and top officials of Kogi state government latched on the false information ‎and started spending monies meant for salaries and pensions on spreading falsehood.
He explained that the Appeal Court judgment has to do with issues of court jurisdiction, adding that the directed the litigants to return to the Federal High court for retrial.
Senate committee chairman said he will not join issues with his opponents and will not be distracted by their usual gimmicks to deny his people dividends of democracy that goes with the senate seat.
