Court of Appeal, Abuja division has adjourned all cases filed against the judgment of Federal High Court on the lingering Kogi East senate seat till September 18.
The High Court had in a recent judgement declared Air Marsha Isaac Alfa (rtd) as the valid candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Aidoko and the PDP have filed separate appeals at the court to challenging the judgement of the federal high court. Alfa has also filed a cross appeal seeking immediate implementation of the High Court verdict.
The Appeal Court judges frowned at the refusal of all parties to consolidate the matter as well as erratic service process by the court officials.
The vacation judges of the Appeal Court warned that all parties must tidy up and forced lawyers of Alfa to withdraw the motion for accelerated hearing forthwith.
The three years long litigation over Kogi East senate seat is far from being ove.
