Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has presented nine Toyota Camry cars to the local government party chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi East to facilitate the discharge of their duties in the various local governments.
Aidoko made this donation in Abuja during a strategic meeting with the local government party chairmen.
He said the gesture became necessary in view of the uphill task ahead of them to rescue the area and state from the shackles of underdevelopment.
He urged the nine local government chairmen to demonstrate utmost loyalty to the party and ensure seamless mobilisation and sensitization of the electorates to address the social, political and economic development of the area through good governance and sane leadership in the next dispensation.
Senator Aidoko said his desire to improve the welfare of the party chairmen in the nine local government had no political undertones, but to assist greatly in running the day to day affairs of PDP and in the interest of the masses.
He advised party loyalists not to hesitate in bringing the manifesto of the party to the electorate, particularly now that the party is in the opposition.
Senator Aidoko promised to continue to assist party machinery to ensure adequate reorientation by all means possible, so as to translate to equitable leadership that will stand the test of time.
Senator Aidoko had taking over the running of affairs of the party through financial support and other pressing issues on a monthly basis.
In the last dispensation, Aidoko donated nine 406 cars to party chairmen in support of the grassroot mobilisation to ensure the victory for the party.
