We want to heartily congratulate the choice of the people Dr Jibrin Isah Echocho, who has emerged overwhelmingly as the APC flag bearer. We thank all delegates who made this possible including few who voted against him.
It is our believe that Echocho will ride on this victory to the ultimate one in the general election; hence we call on the good people of Igala nation to rally round their own.
In the recent years, we have followed the political struggles to liberate our state and journey it on the path of development, you all are aware of the roles, sacrifices and many times the agonizing pains Echocho had to go through but yet remain steadfast believing in God and you; the people. Now that you have given him this mandate to represent you in the upper chamber, as a group we appreciate you and call on all well meaning Igalas to see this victory as theirs by standing firm to ensure his victory in the general election.
To our Leader, Dr Jibrin Isah Echocho, we think it’s time and we thank him for giving us the listening ear all the years in the struggles to represent our people. We pray that God will give him the strength to journey through this. Congratulations Sir.
To his opponent in this election, Prince Yahaya Audu, we thank him for a good fight. If the goal is to represent our people and bring forth much needed development, we charge him to show this through relentless support to Echocho who at this time the people have chosen.
