The Chairman of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO), Alhaji Aminu Abubakar, on Friday, visited the Abocho community where he was warmly received by a delegation of prominent local leaders.
The welcoming party for the Chairman included renowned activist, Comrade Usman Okai Austin and Honorable Wisdom Obaka, alongside several other key stakeholders from the region.
Speaking after the visit, Comrade Okai Austin expressed his appreciation for the visit.
“Today, I had the honor of receiving QS Aminu Abubakar, Chairman of Kaduna Electric, here in Abocho, along with Hon. Wisdom Obaka and other associates. I am truly grateful for his visit,” he stated.
The visit is widely viewed as a significant political move, as QS Aminu Abubakar is a frontrunner for the Senate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In addition to the high-level meeting, the Chair attended the wedding ceremony of the son of a former Dekina PDP Local Government Chairman, also held in Abocho.
Observers noted that the warm reception accorded to the aspirant underscores his ongoing efforts to build a formidable political foundation and consolidate support across the district.
