Kogi Renaissance Group (KRG) has described the emergence of one of the frontline governorship aspirants, Chief Joseph Ameh Erico of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after Kogi East Elders Council’s (KEEC) screening as well deserved.
Reacting to KEEC’s screening report, KRG spokesman, Abani Mohammed assured the people of Kogi state that Erico Ameh will lead the state to the promised land through good governance and unequalled administrative experience.
Mohammed said aside divine intervention and dedication to the course of his ambition, Chief Erico’s personal commitment to party welfare in the years under review placed him in a vantage position to rule the state as the next governor.
He commended the governorship aspirant for piloting the affairs of the party in the 21 local government areas by offsetting the salaries of party Excos, provision of monthly logistics, renovation of party offices across the state as well as Zonal office in Anyigba.
“His philanthropic and life touching activities knows no bound, having provided social interventions like boreholes in some communities in Ojodu, Ofu local government and Ibana in Olamaboro local government.
“Chief Erico also assisted PDP House of Assembly aspirants, numbering 25, through purchase of nomination forms and bank rolling of their election expenses, to enhance the chances of the party’s victory in the last elections.

“His contributions to the Presidential election through provision of logistics to 21 local government areas to facilitate Atiku campaign program by investing in 21 cars stands out among the aspirants jostling for the Kogi top job.
“Chief Erico did not only did all these alone, he ensured the victory of his party in Olamboro ward 2 in the last election as PDP won in the area,” he said.
According to Mohammed, the glaring commitment of the aspirant earned him the judgment of Kogi East Elders, urging the teeming Kogi indigenes to support his good intentions. He promised a robust administration when elected by November this year.
He urged other aspirants to rally round him to ensure the victory of PDP and return the state’s lost glory back to the order of seamless progress and development.
