When politics is practiced as a contemporary issue based system, the usual killings, ballots box snatching, hatred, thuggery and muggery will become a thing of the past.

Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji is known for issue based politics and this mandated his reasons for the inexorable tour across all wards and polling units in Kogi East Senatorial district.

This movement brings to bear the pressing needs of the people. Without doubt, an appreciable number of factoring needs of the people has been recorded.

In his popular advice, his supporters and followers should adhere strictly to issues of functional development rather than using bickering, blackmails and criticism as the theme of the campaigns.

However, it has been proven that issue based politics is the only formidable tool to x-ray the challenges of the people. We have to know what the people wants is more  than throwing cash at them not minding the socioeconomic implication on our people.

Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji is determined to change the political narrative of Kogi State through the micro-economic environment of the entire people of Kogi State.

There is no doubt that his existence in the political sphere has touched the minds and behavior of our people towards politics of person than party.

In the past, it is the party that determine solely the faith of the people. In this case, the candidate must merit his/her proposed mandate to deserve the merit (Votes) of the people for party to triumph.

We are not oblivious of the marginal efforts of the  party, since it  is the umbrella that a candidate must emerge. Dr. Victor is like Prince of the Niger, the Adoja of Blessed memory, Prince Abubakar Audu (PAA). The name Prince Abubakar Audu became a household name as his antecedent in political history of Igala land and Kogi State in general has no bound.

Even if Prince Abubakar Audu had gone to another party, the case of his continuous grand slam victory in most elections wouldn’t have been different.

Let us resuscitate this past glory by considering the qualities of the candidate than the popularity of the party. Remember, it is the name of the candidate and not the party that will be called to bring home dividend of democracy. Dr. Victor knows the challenges confronting the people of Igala-Bassa.

These challenges requires proper legislature that is characterized by policy formulation and implementation. Sure! You must know the needs of the people to make the right laws.

Furtherance to his indepth knowledge from the inescapable tour he has undertaken gave him clear view of the leadership gap in Igala-Bassa  kingdom.  There have been a prolongation of lack of mentoring by the  political leaderships.

The attitude of monopolistic political leadership has crippled the faith of the people of Igala-Bassa in building a formidable future political leaders. His political existence is contemporaneous in building a ladder of leadership structure, a structure that could build future political leaders.

We appreciate God for his wealth of knowledge. His immaculate achievements which has earned him an unblemished integrity which could give the people of Igala-Bassa the hope of better representation. Therefore, as we move into the pivotal stage of campaign, we enjoined all supporters of Dr. Victor Adoji to strictly maintain issue base campaign.

Given his moral background, no soul of any man/woman is worth sacrificing for any politician. What is most paramount, is your vote. As late Prince Abubakar Audu would say, ‘protect my vote and don’t rig my vote’, protect his vote and don’t rig his vote.

Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji believes politics is all about making friends, discovering your allies and encouraging your enemies. Therefore, shun politics of bickering, thuggery, blacmail, hooliganism and embrace issue based politics.

Victory is sure!.
