The Ayegbaomaidoko association, Abuja, has unanimously endorsed Hon. Hilary Edime Amodu for the Senate, citing his outstanding track record, grassroots connection, and unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of Igala land.
In a statement issued after a well-attended youth meeting on Monday, the association noted that Hon. Amodu has over the years distinguished himself as a visionary leader whose contributions to community development, youth empowerment and the promotion of Igala heritage remain remarkable.
According to the association, the decision to endorse Hon. Amodu was not taken lightly but was based on his long-standing dedication to the people and his proven capacity to represent their interests effectively at the national level.
“Hon. Hilary Amodu is not just a politician; he is a grassroots mobilizer who understands the needs, struggles and aspirations of our people. His life and work have consistently reflected a deep commitment to the development of Igala land,” the statement read.
The Ayegbaomaidoko body further highlighted that Hon. Amodu has, through various initiatives, demonstrated his passion for the advancement of the Igala nation. His intellectual contributions, including the documentation of the rich history and identity of Igala people, as well as his constant engagement with community leaders, youth groups and stakeholders, have earned him widespread respect across the district.
They emphasized that the Senate requires leaders who possess both experience and a genuine connection with the people. In their view, Hon. Amodu represents a new wave of leadership that combines knowledge, humility and accessibility.
“As members of ,Ayegbaomaidoko association Abuja, we believe the time has come to send a tested and trusted voice to the Senate. Hon. Hilary Amodu has shown through his track record that he has the capacity, courage and vision to attract development, influence national policies and give our district the quality representation it deserves,” the association stated.
The group also commended Hon. Amodu’s inclusive leadership style and his ability to bring people together regardless of political or social differences, describing him as a unifying figure who prioritizes collective progress over personal ambition.
The Ayegbaomaidoko association therefore called on political stakeholders, community leaders and the good people of the district to rally behind Hon. Hilary Amodu, stressing that his emergence as Senator would mark a new chapter of progress, opportunity and stronger representation for Igala land.
The body reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing support across communities to ensure that credible and people-oriented leadership emerges in the forthcoming senatorial race.
