Kogi East: Aidoko Reassures PDP Leadership of Support

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will bounce back to reclaim power at all levels.
Aidoko, who made this known while playing host of key stakeholders of the party in Kogi East, said at all differences and grievances arising from last elections must be set aside.
The Federal lawmaker stated that the ideology, operations and workings of the party must be re-jigged for true democracy to thrive in Kogi and Nigeria.
Aidoko said as the founding father and a major stakeholder of PDP, both at ‎the state and national levels, his doors remain widely open to all and sundry for suggestions and advises that will return the party to the path of glory in all ramifications.
He said politicians must recognise and respect those saddled with leadership position, not minding their extraction, background and exposure, saying leadership comes from God no matter the circumstances.
The senator said he will be willing to join thousands of party supporters in Kogi and the new entrants ‎to rebuild the party and to address myriads of human problems orchestrated by the prevailing circumstances in Kogi state.
Earlier, the leader of the group and former Ankpa local government chairman, Alhassan Yakubu expressed confidence in the ability of the senator ‎to change the party’s  fortune. He commended him for the reception accorded them.
Yakubu described Senator Aidoko’s victory at the Supreme court as well deserved. He urged him to use the victory as an opportunity to bring all shades of opinion in the party under one fold.
He said as a senator representing Kogi east, he remains the rallying point ‎of members of the PDP from the zone.
