“Amade needs no introduction to me; I have known him since he was a young boy. He has been in the struggle for the emancipation of the Igala people. Everyone knows that.”

These were the exact words of the Ojogba of Ife, His Royal Highness, Chief Boniface Musa, when the leadership and members of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Abejukolo on Saturday, July 21.

This happened when the Omala Local Government APDA party leader, Engr. Ede wanted to introduce Comrade Amade to observe protocols. But to the amazement of all, the Royal Father told the entire gathering that Amade wasn’t such a man who needed to be introduced to him as he (His Highness), was well abreast with all the exploits of the Senatorial Aspirant in the entire Igala land.

The Royal Father described Comrade Amade as a man whose heartbeat for the liberation of the Igala people was unstoppably strong and long.

He averred: “You have been in the forefront of anything that would promote the development of our land right from a very tender age. God will grant you success as you seek to represent and take our issues to the national arena.”

Chief Musa used the occasion to admonish the party faithful to produce other men of noble personalities from APDA that would bring back the lost glory of the Igala people.

Speaking earlier, Comrade Amade and the Kogi East Senatorial District APDA party aspirant assured the Royal Farther of his unflinching dedication to the course of the Igala nation which he said, has been his passion right from childhood.

It was the occasion of the inauguration of the party leadership of the Omala Local Government chapter which witnessed an uncontrollable crowd of men and vehicles in Abejukolo town.
