Kogi East 2019: Ogugu Youths Predicts Landslide Victory for Aidoko

A former Ogugu Ward Councillor, Hon. Collins Onogu and Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Olamaboro local government area, Ambassador Basanta Okpanachi has assured Senator Atai Aidoko of landslide victory in Ogugu.
The youths in their numbers stormed the senators residence to demonstrate their unalloyed support to the candidature of Senator Atai Aidoko Ali
Ambassador Basanta told the senator that the expected victory of PDP in Ogugu will be the hub of his victory in the February 2019 election.
“We are entering into a very strong alliance to support you in the next election, particularly in Ogugu ward 3, where we will commence the celebration of your victory.
“APC in Olamaboro, Ogugu district is divided into three. How do you think the confidence will be there to vote the party whose support is already fragile and threatened?,” he said.
The spokesman appealed to Senator Aidoko to look into the epileptic power supply in the area for the past seven years and requested for the construction of a town hall in the area.
Earlier, Senator Aidoko thanked the people of Ogugu for the visit, promising to carry them along in all areas of representation and politics.
He expressed disappointment over the low power generation, in spite of the juicy positions occupied by their sons and daughters in the current administration.
Senator Aidoko described Ogugu as his home as his paternal grand mother hailed from Emonyoku area of the district.
He advised the elders from the area to support his youthful ideas to continue, to ensure solid development of every nooks and crannies of Ogugu district.
