Tricycles donated to Ofu Local Government council by Kogi State Government have been commissioned at Ugwolawo with a charge to the youths to grab the opportunity by YAD4KOGI to improve their lives.
The Director of Ofu Local Government Area, Mr. Sani–Dare Emmanuel who commissioned the tricycles charged the youths to take their destiny in their hands by working hard to earn a sustainable means of livelihood and to benefit from the dividends of democracy of the present government.
The DLG thanked Kogi State Government for the gesture and commended Captain Idris Wada over his concern for the less privileged in the society, especially the women and youths.
He directed the schedule officer in charge of the vehicles to work hard for the success of the programme while warning that under no circumstance would the tricycles be converted to personal use.
The desk officer in charge of YAD4KOGI in Ofu, Mr. Godwin Paul, promised to do everything possible to bring about the success of the programme and thanked the DLG for all the support that he has made the programme a reality.
