Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has put all machinery in place to officially begin the building of a town hall for women of Udama Kingdom in Ankpa local government area.
The hall which will be used for community meetings and other social events was among the request made by the women from Udama district which comprise of Uboŕji, Smoke, Ótondoŕ, Aguyaya and other neighboring communities.
The Deputy Speaker, during a meeting with the women group on Saturday, announced that all is set for the ground breaking and foundation laying ceremony slated for October 19 this year.
The women expressed joy and assured Ahmed, member representing Ankpa I constituency, of their support and prayers. They also promised to mobilize voters massively in their respective polling centres to ensure that Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello emerge victorious in the November gubernatorial election.
