The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has presented bank cheque to twenty students of Unity Comprehensive Secondary School in Ankpa who recently benefited from his scholarship scheme.
The students were picked based on their academic performance while the less privileged among them were given special consideration.
While congratulating the beneficiaries, the Omakoji Onu Ankpa (Gbadaligi) said the scholarship is a morale booster for others to take their studies serious. He advised them to shun social vices and face their studies with utmost attention and dedication.
The principal of the college, who spoke on behalf of the school appreciated his effort for support to education while calling on him not to relent in assisting the needy.
