A former member of the House of Representative, Hon. Abdulaziz Idris King has called on his teeming supporters to come out enmass to vote for all the chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the All progressives Congress (APC).
He assured that the ruling party will emerge victorious in all 21 local government councils in the elections.
Idris King who represented Okene /Ogori-Magongo federal constituency few years ago made the call on Thursday in Lokoja while speaking with newsmen on the chances of APC in December 12 council polls.
According to him, APC, through the new direction leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello, has done a lot in the state in terms of infrastructural development and equitable distribution of political positions across all the three senatorial districts of the state.
He added that the performance of APC will definitely galvanise support and votes for all the candidates of the party in central senatorial district and the entire state at large.
The former lawmaker argued that there are viable opposition parties in Kogi state that can challenge the strong and formidable structures of the APC in the state in any of the 21 local governments.
Hon. Idris King urged members of the party to turnout enmass and vote massively for the APC candidates in the five local government that form central senatorial district on Saturday.
He also enjoined his teeming supporters to maintain peace and orderliness during and after the election, saying APC is ready to win all councilorship and chairmanship seats in the state.
