A Kogi State based cleric, Dr. Akiologia has threatened to to drag President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello to court if he is not allowed to see coronavirus patients and pray for them.

Akiologia, the founder of Christ Grace and Mercy Healing Church for all Nations, in a short video recorded in Lokoja, claimed the pandemic will rise beyond human control between June and July this year.

He warned that if the state and Federal governments fail to give him approval to visit and pray for patients infected with coronavirus, he will resort to litigation.

He also claimed he has the solution to the coronavirus ravaging humanity.

“This is the year of flooding like the God almighty revealed earlier. This year, a lot of people are going to die but I want to address my own state, Kogi state; this year, thousands of people are going to be affected by this disease. It is not the lockdown that will be the solution to it because from the month of June to July, the crisis is going to rise beyond human control.

“God almighty has given us a solution to all the sickness, all the problems before it comes. This year, this pandemic has taken over the world and many churches have been shut down, offices have been shut down, no movement anywhere. I want to tell the whole world, the key to this pandemic is in my hand. Federal government, between now and two weeks, if I don’t get an approval to visit all the isolation centres here in Nigeria, I will sue the Federal government and President Buhari.

“I came down to Kogi state and I believe I will spend more than five months in the state. I will be praying and I will be commanding this sickness not to enter my own state. I am not going to travel anywhere until I stop this pandemic from getting to Kogi state

“If I don’t receive a letter from the state, I will sue Kogi government and my governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello. If I don’t receive an approval, I am not begging, the federal government should be ready to face the consequence,” he said.
