A foremost social political group, Kogi Transformation Ambassadors, have endorsed the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alh. Oseni Yakubu as its preferred candidate for the 2019 Kogi Central senatorial election.
The president and co-founder of the group, Hon. En-Habib Abdullah said that having subjected the three frontline candidates vying the seat to stakeholders opinion and input, Alh. Oseni Yakubu emerged as a preferred candidate.
While throwing more light on why Alh Oseni emerged as the KTA choice, En-Habib said, “we studied the antecedent and experience of those vying the position, Alh Oseni’s profile is worth taking to the bank. In terms of experience and exposure, he has spent most of his service in private sector, particularly in financial institution as an economist. He brought his private sector experience into public sector where he reformed and transformed Kogi board of internal revenue as executive chairman within the short time in office. All these qualities and experiences are what prompted our choice and he is our choice also the people’s choice.”
He assured that KTA will promote and project Oseni’s ambition across board.
“Our members are mainly politicians, technocrats, entrepreneurs and students who are mostly young people. KTA shall canvass for his support to ensure his victory is consolidated come 2019 for the benefit of Kogi state and Kogi central in particular.”
The former House of Assembly aspirant for Adavi Constituency advised the electorate to re-echo their confidence and trust on Alh. Oseni candidature because he is a reformer and transformer.
