It was a momentous week for the front-line aspirant in the forthcoming Kogi Central Senatorial Election, Honorable Yakubu Oseni as he picked his nomination form to contest in 2019 general elections.
Alhaji Oseni picked his form in Abuja penultimate Friday with reasonable crowd who were so joyous that their man had taken the first step in realising his ambition.
Shortly after picking his form, Oseni and his entourage paid a solidarity visit to respected Senator Adeyemi Smart at his Abuja residence where they exchanged banters and pleasantries.
For his massive fans at home, it was a day of joy as they were seen in groups discussing and analyzing the bold step taken by their leader.
Alhaji Oseni is seen generally across Kogi Central as a man imbued with a good head and a good heart. Political pundits have rated his chances in the forthcoming elections so high because of his general acceptance in Kogi Central.
Yakubu Oseni who was a seasoned banker before his foray into politics is a bachelor degree holder in Economics (second class upper) from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Masters in Economics from the University of Abuja.
